From a small cart in a popular market to a legacy that spans generations

A father who set the values, four sons who built on them, and a third generation preparing to carry them forward.

1994

Where the story began

Our story did not begin in a luxurious office, a large institution, or with significant capital. It began with a simple cart selling fruits and vegetables in a popular market in Beirut.

In 1994, in a market near the Sports City in Beirut, the late founder, agricultural engineer Hasan Al Habra, started trading in fruits and vegetables — relying on his agricultural knowledge, his belief in hard work, and his drive to provide a dignified life for his family.

Times were hard and the beginning was not easy. His four sons — Mohammad Anwar, Fadi, Houssam and Hassan — had to leave school and join their father at the age of thirteen or fourteen. From behind that humble cart, a family story began to take shape that would span more than three decades.

The father did not only teach his sons the trade; he instilled principles he believed were more valuable than money: honesty, respect for people, diligence and keeping one’s word. Above all, he nurtured love between the brothers, cooperation, and standing by one another in every circumstance.

He believed that a family’s strength lies in its unity, and that no son’s success is complete without the success of his brothers.

These principles became the cornerstone of the family business — and the main reason the four brothers have continued working together ever since.

A founder’s legacy lives on

His passing was a profound moment in the family’s history, yet he left behind far more than companies and property: four sons who worked beside him since childhood and spent a quarter of a century working together, united.

He advised that his grandchildren begin their careers with real work inside the companies and grow in responsibility according to their experience — not take positions simply for belonging to the family.

“His dream was for the business he started to remain a source of strength and stability for his children and grandchildren — and to continue for generations.”

Alongside their studies, some members of the third generation are gradually joining the workplace in roles suited to their abilities, subject to the same management systems and performance reviews as any employee. This model does not hand down positions automatically; it relies on progression, qualification and proven competence — a direct continuation of the founder’s belief that work is learned by doing.

The group sees the third generation’s diverse fields of study as a gateway to future investment in medicine, engineering, services and beyond — always choosing projects with clear economic viability that fit its long-term vision.

Our vision

A legacy we preserve, a future we build

We aspire to build an established family investment group with professional institutional management, grounded in trust, cooperation and integrity — investing in people as much as in projects and assets.

Each generation’s success is measured by its ability to hand the next a stronger, more organized and more stable institution.
